Recruiting software that wins over apprentices

naymspace built Skillcheck for Deutsche Bahn: a custom recruiting tool that helps young people discover their strengths in a fun way and find matching apprenticeships within the DB Group. As the technical implementation partner, we developed the self-assessment tool and its game logic in close collaboration with G&P.

How we built the self-assessment tool

We developed a high-performance web application in React and TypeScript that delivers a compelling user experience across all devices thanks to interactive elements and a fully responsive, mobile-first design. Alongside the technical implementation, we focused on content design: we devised an intelligent results algorithm that reliably identifies a young person's personal strengths and translates them into suitable training pathways.

The result is a low-barrier, motivating tool that engages young people and gives them genuine guidance. It confidently points candidates toward matching apprenticeships within Deutsche Bahn, while strengthening the entire recruiting campaign behind it.
