Wind Nielsen is Germany's leading provider in the field of wind turbine repowering. Located just a few kilometres from the Danish border, the company's range of services extends from the purchase and sale of used wind turbines to spare parts of all kinds and the complete coordination of customer projects, including inspections, dismantling, transport and reassembly. Everything from a single source, worldwide if required.
Companies grow and develop, as does the number of tools used and items in the system. At some point, the interaction no longer functions optimally and needs to be adapted accordingly. The biggest challenge is to avoid the creation of a large amount of data in future as far as possible without losing essential information.
This is how we implemented it
The tried-and-tested orgaMAX ERP system will be completely reconnected and a separate interface to the Wind Nielsen shop will be developed. This should make data maintenance much easier, as everything will be centralised in one tool. This not only reduces the workload, but also increases the up-to-dateness and quality of the articles on the website.
Our project result
This means that several tools are no longer necessary. This not only saves error-prone data records, but also time. Streamlining the IT infrastructure also means a reduction in data. This means less maintenance and therefore less work. Thanks to the full utilisation of the ERP system, the individual departments are once again working hand in hand.
